Netflix, who own the DVD delivery space in the US, have added a streaming service to their package.
Subscribers now have the option to stream a catalogue of movies direct to their PC, Wii, PS3, or Xbox or IPTV.
"Watch Instantly" is included in all Netflix plans, from S4.99 for two hours a month, up to unlimited access for $8.99 per month.
The catalogue of movies is quite extensive and it's encouraging to Australian films represented, including Sampson and Delilah, Balibo, Little Fish, plus the classics Muriel's Wedding, Malcolm, Mad Max, Crocodile Dundee, Lantana.
The service is restricted to US viewers only.
